Job Summary
Shimmick Construction, an AECOM Co. is seeking a Construction Engineer to be based on a rail project in Honolulu, Hawaii. This challenging position will provide an excellent growth opportunity while improving the infrastructure of the city.

Position Description or Typical Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates with others with the ability to make autonomous decisions guided by policies, procedures and business objectives.
  • Accountable for the results of the team or the process establishing goals and objectives and adherence to budget.
  • Responsible to manage costs and profit for project's Station construction.
  • Responsible for planning logistics and scheduling station work.
  • Responsible for safety/quality/schedule/owner relations and profitability.
  • Responsible for Onsite hourly union craft staff of 15+.  Provides the planning, design, management and execution of activities related to the installation, building, repair, or maintenance of a structure or roadway.

Minimum Requirements
  • BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
