Job Summary
AECOM has an opportunity for a highly qualified candidate as a Systems Architect providing enterprise architecture support to the Director, USINDOPACOM Command, Control, Communications, and Cyber Directorate (J6) at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.
This is a contingent position.

Essential Responsibilities:
  1. Provide the subject matter expertise required to:
    • Plan and coordinate the future capabilities needed to enable information sharing, collaboration, and interoperability; that can be provided in federated, franchised, or centralized business models.
    • Analyze use cases and deliver architecture artifacts and recommendations for the production of architecture artifacts based on the analytical findings of the DOD Enterprise Architecture and Engineering Panel (EAEP) and the Enterprise Architecture and Service Board (EASB) that contribute to the USINDOPACOM.
    • Provide analysis and deliver recommendations for the production of DoDAF products that create enterprise architecture models and reports in the area of Information Assurance (IA) and Cyber security.
    • Provide analysis of alternatives and recommendations based on emergent technologies to improve C4 architecture in the USINDOPACOM AOR.
  2. Develop and maintain architecture Implementation Plans in support of technical, operations, and governance requirements.  Plans shall include integrated schedule updates, and program and project milestones for implementation.
  3. The contractor shall provide the COR-appointed Technical Assistant (TA) with a Monthly Status Report (MSR) no later than the 5th of the month following the reporting period. At a minimum, the MSR shall include the following information:
    • A list of accomplishments during the reporting period
    • Identify any task issues, problem areas and items that require Government action

Minimum Requirements
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience).
  • At least 9 years of experience.
  • At least 3 years general knowledge or experience with geographical combatant command(s) or similar theater-wide architectures and extensive relevant program management experience comparable to this requirement.
  • In accordance with DoD policy 8570.01M, must meet IAM I certification minimum qualifications.
  • Experience with IT project management and architecture development (i.e., DoDAF), preferably in a DoD environment.
  • Experience using MS tools (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Due to the nature of the work, must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must have an active Secret security clearance.
