Primary Purpose of Job:

Provides leadership and direction to the Retail Loan Operations team in order to achieve an exceptional customers experience through process improvement utilizing process automation. Monitors the retail loan portfolios for adherence to bank, investor and other applicable policies, procedures, standards, laws and regulations.

Major Job Accountabilities:

  • Delivers an exceptional customer experience through process improvement utilizing process automation. Provides continued support for automation process and tools
  • Uses data and analytics to monitor retail loan portfolios for adherence to bank, investor, and other applicable policies, procedures, standards, laws and regulations
  • Ensures department strategy, goals and operating procedures align with the Bank's vision making appropriate modifications when necessary
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Establishes key performance metrics to measure and manage the delivery of departmental objectives
  • Responsible for the hiring, evaluation and development of teammates who deliver high performance and exemplify the core values of the Bank

Qualifications

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Associate (2-year) or equivalent in Business Administration, Technology Development

Experience Required:

  • Five (5) years minimum of Operational experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a mortgage servicing capacity
  • Two (2) years minimum of Developing procedural and/or policy documentation
  • Two (2) years minimum of Direct leadership of a team -- accountable for development and coaching of team members and distribution of work assignments

Required Skills or Training:

  • Promotes a strong risk culture by using constructive dissent to appropriately challenge using data and analysis
  • Demonstrated advanced understanding of process improvement fundamentals
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, to work collaboratively across the organization
  • Ability to lead a team, coaching individuals to achieve optimal performance. Effective at conflict resolution
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize workload
  • Possesses strong analytical skills, as well as effective at decision making
  • Computer skills including advanced knowledge of MS Office software and familiarity with process automation tools
