Supports the company's information security program to ensure that information security standards, practices, & controls are in place to adequately mitigate risk to the bank. Enables proactive, comprehensive, and consistent technology and information-related risk management practices across the bank.

  • Provide support for security-related FFIEC, and SOC 2 compliance controls and audit systems, services, and processes to verify adherence to company security policies and procedures.

  • Assist with maintaining and reporting on the bank's security posture that leverage and align to industry frameworks (e.g. NIST, CIS CSC, etc.).

  • Regularly analyze program/project status, risk management reports, and results from risk assessments and tests of controls.

  • Develop and maintain IT Security policies and procedures.

  • Maintain and enhance the IT Security Awareness initiative at the bank. (Bank-wide/departmental information security training, articles/posters, desktop exercises, etc.).

  • Maintain current knowledge of evolving information security risks, cyber security, new and evolving trends with mitigation tools and changes to security regulations affecting financial institutions.


Primary Purpose of Job

Responsible for design, implementation and maintenance of a network infrastructure that supports the corporate technology strategy. Works with other Technology groups to implement technology components that support the organization's long-term needs. Provides support of assigned software and hardware through monitoring, troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Major Job Accountabilities

  • Supports assigned network software and hardware by maintaining and monitoring status; performs trouble shooting, administration and testing. Performs technical analysis with the use of sophisticated equipment to identify faulty hardware and systems; initiates action to repair or replace.

  • Diagnose and recommend and/or implement solutions to resolve reports of system trouble, business problems, and customer's questions.

  • Design, install, configure and support data and voice-related hardware and software. Updates and maintains network documentation.

  • Implement changes to network configurations during non-business hours, as required. Shared responsibility for continued 24x7 operations of the campus networks and must be able to respond to broad outages in a timely manner.
