Come join our growing team of expert civil engineers, environmental engineers, transportation planners, and scientists in solving our client's infrastructure needs and helping to serve our communities!

If you are passionate about supporting water reliability, water quality, and protecting the environment, then we want you on our team.

We are looking for candidates who have a strong foundation in civil or water resources engineering and can work with a multi-faceted team to fulfill a variety of projects, including design of water treatment, desalination, water reuse, and wastewater treatment plants, planning and design for pump stations and pipelines, habitat restoration, and hydrology and hydraulics evaluations.

Under General supervision, creates basic to moderate complexity engineering designs involving site layout development, site grading and drainage, hydraulics and hydrology calculations, water distribution systems, collection systems, storage tanks and impoundments, foundation designs, stormwater infrastructure and treatment, and occasionally single-story structures.

Reviews draft designs for compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

Ensures that firm policies and practices are followed on all designs.

Performs site reviews and studies, as needed, to ensure designs are aligned with location specifications.

Updates design requirements as necessary.

Contributes to firm's Technical Knowledge Management (TKM) by developing white papers and technical design documentation of new or special case designs, studies, etc..

Submits technical papers and designs for publishing to technical journals.

Attends conferences, symposia, etc. to improve the visibility of the firm's products and services in collaboration with applicable sales staff.

Provides technical guidance and training to more junior staff. Reviews the work of more junior staff.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering.

Experience: 3 years of related experience.

Travel: Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.

Preferred Qualifications
Registered Professional Engineer.

Experience with the following programs are a plus:
Modflow, Hec-Ras, Hec-HMS, InfoWater/ InfoWorks.

Experience with hydraulic systems design, surge analysis, pipeline and pump station design, groundwater modeling, and water system master planning are all a plus.
