|Takes verbatim minutes of hearings, conferences and meetings; prepares verbatim transcripts, minutes and resumes; confers with the staff and others regarding the procedure of and actions taken by the commission and/or board; composes correspondence for the Administrator and members of the commission or board; takes and transcribes dictation of letters, memoranda, reports and other materials from the Administrator and others, as requested; may assist in preparing of agendas for meetings and hearings, notifying members and the public of meetings and hearings, assembling necessary materials, and recording filing of official minutes and other documents; may perform other office clerical, stenographic and typing duties.|

There are two vacancies with the Liquor Commission. Evening and occasional weekend work will be required. List may be used to fill future vacancies in this and/or other departments.
|Minimum Qualification Requirements:|
Equivalent to graduation from high school. Responsible work experience that demonstrated the ability to perform the essential functions of the job may be substituted for education.
Three years of clerical and stenographic experience, one of which shall have involved the taking and transcribing minutes of meetings, conferences or hearings or other similar proceedings. Such experience must have included the ability to take dictation at 120 or more net words per minute and transcribe notes accurately, and type at 40 or more net words per minute.
(1) Business school or college will substitute for experience on a month-for-month basis for up to two years of the required three years of clerical and stenographic experience.
(2) A Certificate in Court Reporting and/or Stenography will substitute for the one year of specialized experience.
