- Duties Summary
Independently performs substantive human resources clerical work that includes a significant proportion of those of a novel and/or unusually complicated nature which presents many possible alternative courses of action and requires use of considerable judgment; and/or performs limited technical assistance work; and performs other related duties as assigned. May also provide guidance or supervision to lower level general clerical or human resources clerical positions, with responsibility for training, developing and improving work procedures and materials, and scheduling and monitoring work assignments.
- Minimum Qualification Requirements
To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:
General Experience: One year of progressively responsible general office clerical experience.
Specialized Experience: Three years of experience in an office where the work required the knowledge and application of pertinent personnel rules, regulations, procedures and program requirements.
Supervisory Aptitude: Some positions may require possession of supervisory aptitude. Supervisory aptitude is the demonstration of aptitude or potential for the performance of supervisory duties through successful completion of regular or special assignments which involve some supervisory responsibilities or aspects; by serving as a group or team leader, or in similar work in which opportunities for demonstrating supervisory capabilities exist; by completion of training courses in supervision accompanied by application of supervisory skills in work assignments or by favorable appraisals by a supervisor indicating the possession of supervisory potential. This requirement will be considered to have been met when there is strong affirmative evidence of the necessary supervisory abilities and/or potential.
Keyboarding/Computer Skill: Some positions may require keyboarding proficiency and/or the ability to use computers and word processing and/or other software applications. These positions require the ability to keyboard/type 40 net words per minute. Some of the vacancies has this requirement.
