Recruitment Number 19-033TY, Land and Tax Appeal Court Clerk, SR-17, Honolulu, O'ahu.
 Summary of Duties:
Receives and dockets papers for filing in the Land Court and the Tax Appeal Court; checks documents for completeness and compliance with recording laws, rules and regulations; serves as clerk of the court at hearings and trials of the Land Court and Tax Appeal Court; and performs other duties as required.
 Minimum Qualification Requirements:
General Experience: Three (3) years of clerical work experience which required meeting and dealing with the public. This experience must demonstrate that the applicant has the knowledge of office practices and procedures and is able to meet and deal effectively with the general public.

Specialized Experience: Two (2) years of work experience which involved preparing abstracts or legal land documents, or checking and reviewing such documents or instruments for accuracy, completeness of information and conformance with pertinent laws, rules, regulations and other legal requirements. Such experience must demonstrate that the applicant possesses a good knowledge of land documents and legal forms.

Substitutions Allowed:

1) Training received in a clerical curriculum at a business school or community college may be substituted for General Experience on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of two (2) years.

2) Excess Specialized Experience may be substituted for General Experience on a year-for year basis.
