Description

Position Overview

The Marketing Technology (MarTech) Product Owner leads the maintenance and delivery of the MarTech roadmap and is responsible for maturing our MarTech infrastructure and delivering technical and data solutions to marketing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the MarTech roadmap through collaboration with stakeholders and continuous prioritization
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts, Business Analysts and IT to translate the MarTech roadmap into well-defined features and approved user stories that balance user needs, business constraints, legal/regulatory requirements and technology realities
  • Work with internal and external technology resources to determine and deliver new technology, or expanded utilization of existing technology
  • Work with Analytics teams to specify business requirements
  • Own the delivery of the MarTech roadmap through regular releases by internal and external development teams
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, grooming, daily standups, demos, etc.), as appropriate, to ensure delivery of expected features/functionality
  • Accept deliverables after integration or development, ensuring acceptance criteria are met
  • Analyze usage and internal user feedback, produce regular reports and recommendations to address issues and improve outcomes
  • Lead ongoing efforts to test and optimize the use of MarTech internally
  • Monitor the industry and competitive landscape to inform MarTech strategy
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across company, including Marketing, IT, Revenue Management, Sales, Legal and more
  • Champion the case for efficient and effective use of MarTech, both internally and externally
  • Manager vendor relationships
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience planning, delivering and managing MarTech and customer data platforms
  • Experience identifying, analyzing and solving complex problems using data and sound judgement
  • Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple requests from various parties to best utilize limited resources to meet delivery dates
  • Ability to adapt with changing circumstances and embrace change with a positive attitude
  • Experience working with MarTech and Customer Data Platform vendors
  • Experience working with IT to select, integrate and utilize MarTech platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or related field
  • Experience with Adobe, Oracle, and/or Salesforce marketing technology platforms
  • Experience in web-based, B2C, digital transaction businesses
  • Experience with SQL, tagging, consumer privacy, data governance and similar modern data concerns
