Job Description

Jacobs is seeking a qualified Information Technology (IT) professional to support the USSOCOM SITEC II Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) contract. Job Description
Shift work is required to support 24x7 operations. It is important to be available to work any shift/designated hours required to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Requirement Analysts must be excellent analytical thinkers and problem solvers, as well as effective communicators. They need a broad understanding of and experience working with translating requirements into operational solutions. Since Requirement Analysts work closely with colleagues in other departments, strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Project management experience and a strong technical and functional knowledge of the Government's preferred Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions are a plus. Candidates also must have a thorough understanding of the Government's processes.
Candidate must have advanced knowledge of using Microsoft Office Suite (2013/2016) and understanding of the Special Operations mission, protocols and culture.

Typical Duties
•Analyzing and defining systems, functions, process and user needs
•Updating system requirements based on changes in operations or policy
•Creating documentation such as policies, procedures, workflows and user guides
•Generating various reports as needed
•Review, process, and monitor USSOCOM Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI) maintenance actions for the SOF Information Environment (SIE).
•Review ASI portal inputs, analyze the potential impacts of a local/Enterprise scheduled/unscheduled events; assess potential impacts to critical infrastructure and assets supporting assigned missions and report results of the analysis and assessment.
•Maintain situational awareness for the J63 leadership through monitoring, directing, coordinating, and de-conflicting USSOCOM ASI maintenance actions.
•Review infrastructure and enterprise services degradation/impact reports from Combatant Commanders/Services/Agencies (CC/S/A/FA). Review situation reports from service providers for mission impact.
•Maintain the overall health of the USSOCOM SIE 24/7 by coordinating/collaborating and synchronizing USSOCOM maintenance actions with the TSOCs/Components.
•De-conflict, coordinate, and synchronize USSOCOM SIE and Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN) ASI conflicts and operations with subordinate and/or supporting forces and supporting commands.
•Coordinate Periods of Non-Disruption (POND) and Periods of Stability (POS) impacting COCOMs, TSOCs, Components; based on risk assessments and desired end-states, provide conflict resolution across the USSOCOM SIE; escalate issues that cannot be resolved/deconflicted to the Global Enterprise Operations Center (GEOC) Battle Captain.
•Facilitate and escalate to the GEOC Leadership USSOCOM ASIs that have operational issues/concerns that span multiple AORs.
•Support the weekly J633-N ASI Synchronization meeting by preparing and briefing upcoming ASI's.

Required Certification: Employment is contingent upon obtaining all required certifications within the timeframe specified in a waiver by the government (if applicable) and maintaining required certifications through the duration of the contract. Failure to obtain/maintain required certifications will result in disqualification for this position and could result in termination.

Essential Functions
Work Environment
•Work will be performed inside a large facility. An inside environment may be a cubicle (considerations: close quarters, low to moderate noise, bright or dim lighting). Work assignments vary based on client requirements. Position will require night and weekend work.
Physical Requirements
•Sitting at desk. Phone use and PC or laptop. Filing required. May require lifting and carrying boxes of supplies or files up to 25 lbs. Extended periods of sitting while on PC/laptop or phone.
Equipment and Machines
•General office equipment, which includes: telephone, fax machine, copier, PC/laptop, and other miscellaneous office equipment. Servers, switches, routers and other computer equipment that supports the network environment.
Attendance
•Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is mandatory. Shift work is required to support 24x7 operations. It is important to be available to work any shift/designated hours required to include nights, weekends and holidays.
•There is a potential for event driven schedule changes
•You may be asked to continue performance during inclement weather or other conditions when others are not permitted to work
•You may be asked to continue performance in support of a war, contingency or exercises
Travel
•Continental and Oversees travel may be required. It is important to maintain a current passport.

•Candidate must exhibit a professional behavior that promotes teamwork, fosters cooperation, and enhances productivity in the workplace. Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate, prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to work effectively with a variety of government, military and contractor personnel at all levels. Must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Grooming and dress usually business casual, but dependent on client's standards. Must not pose a safety hazard to employees working in the same general area.
