Northrop Grumman is in need of a Computer Networks Lead to manageenterprise IT support services to be provided to the United States Army –Pacific staff located in Honolulu,Hawaii.
Design andplan network communications systems.
Providespecifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
Deliverspecific detailed information for hardware and software selection,implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meetbusiness needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
Conducttesting of network design. Maintains technical expertise in all areas ofnetwork and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing,such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
Evaluateand reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of thenetwork.
Direct the work of employees assigned to perform networkengineering, cybersecurity, and data management tasks.
Bachelor'sdegree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field orequivalent experience.
5 years of experience designing local, regional, WAN, and network systems andsubsystems supporting voice, video, data, and imagery information
2 years of experience leading teams of network engineers
2 years working with Department ofDefense Information Assurance policies and guidelines and applying theirimplications on network architecture design and configuration
Possessesan active CISCO Certified Network Professional (Routing & Switching)certification
Possess a Top Secret(TS) clearance with access to SCI based on a Single Source BackgroundInvestigation (SSBI)
Master's Degree in IT, Computer Science,Information Systems
Experiencewith implementing Hyper Converged Infrastructures and CISCO UCS platforms
Experience with implementing IT systems onDoD networks, DoDIN and cross domain solutions
Experience in certification and accreditationof US Army or DoD systems
Experience providing network services forLand Mobile Radio (LMR) systems
